Help Us Help Others:

Growing & Changing (Group)
All Ages
Have kids bring in a baby picture for show and tell. One at a time have each child come to the front and show their picture to the class, then give a short summary of how they’ve changed since that picture was taken. When you’re done, use this to talk about how people are growing and changing all the time, so we should also allow our opinions of others to change and evolve, giving them second chances (and thirds, and fourths, and so on) to grow and become better people.

Secret Sleuth Activity:
In this activity, kids share little known things about themselves in order to get to know their classmates better, while also learning that you can’t judge people based on outward appearances. Recommended for children of all ages.

The Evil Baby – A Social Intelligence Activity: This is a fun classroom presentation and group time discussion that teaches kids to view bad behavior within the larger context of the overall environment. Recommended for kids in elementary school and above.

Gossip Telephone: A fun group time activity for kids of all ages that teaches about the nature of gossip.
