Welcome to our section on Teen Statistics, which provides a snapshot of adolescent life and behavior. This is a collection of different surveys, facts and statistics from a variety of sources, designed to give parents and others who work with teenagers an insight into teen life & behavior.

What do teens really do in their spare time?  What’s normal adolescent behavior, what isn’t?   What do kids think about parents? What do they do when they hang out with friends? How do  they get their hands on drugs? Which are the drugs of choice? These are just some of the questions parents grapple with as their child enters adolescence.  Whatever it is you’re wondering about, it’s likely we’ll be able to shed some light on it somewhere within these  pages. We hope you find this information useful!

*Notice: The information herein is gathered from numerous sources, so there might be slight contradictions, overlaps, or variations in some statistics, as researchers using different methods or different data groups are bound to produce somewhat varied results.
