In accordance with European Union law, the following policy explains how our organization collects and uses the personal data from our website visitors.

What data do we collect?

We ourselves do not collect and maintain any personal data from visitors, except for the e-mails of those who subscribe to our services. We do, however, use third party apps such as Google Analytics or Jetpack to provide data about the traffic to our site, which record page hits, IP addresses, downloads, and other basic traffic information that virtually every website records in order to measure performance.

How do we collect your data?

We collect your information if you voluntarily subscribe to one of our services. Aside from that, the only data collected is anonymous information on how you navigate and utilize our site.

How will we use your data?

We have no interest whatsoever in using or selling your personal data. We don’t track or spy on visitors like many internet companies do. The only time we use your data is to deliver services you subscribe to. When purchases are made for products or services we offer, data regarding that transaction may be shared with payment processors as a routine part of online purchases in order to prevent fraudulent transactions.

How we store your data and keep it secure

Any data we collect is stored on a secure server and transmitted via a secure https connection. We also use third-party security apps such as Wordfence to help keep our site and any data we collect secure.

Marketing

Our organization does not use any data we might collect for marketing purposes. Data is not sold or shared with any other company, except as specified through third party apps or payment processors.

Cookies

Cookies are small bits of computer code used to collect data on a website visitor’s behavior. Our organization does not use cookies to track our users. However, some third part apps, such as Google AdSense and Google Analytics, do use cookies. (Visit http://allaboutcookies.org for further information on how cookies are typically used.)

How to manage cookies

Internet users have the ability to manage cookies directly from their web browser. You can instruct your web browser not to accept cookies or delete the cache of cookies it is currently storing. Just be aware that this may affect the functionality of the websites you visit. (For example, user names and logins are typically stored via cookies.)

Privacy policy of other websites

Our website contains links and connections to other websites. This privacy policy applies only to our website, so if you click through to a link that takes you to another website, you should read their privacy policy.

Changes in our privacy policy

Our organization will periodically review and update our privacy policy as deemed necessary. This privacy policy was last updated on June 15, 2022.

Your data protection rights

Contact us

If you request to exercise any of these rights, or have any other questions about our data and privacy policy, you can contact us at support@keepyourchildsafe.org, and we will respond within 1 month. Keep in mind that since we don’t actually maintain files on individual users, nor store any data ourselves, our ability to provide information is limited.
