Exposing children to other cultures is one of the best things you can do both for them and for society. Nothing erases bigotry, prejudice and simplemindedness quite like exposure to a wide range of lifestyles and beliefs. As Mark Twain once wrote, “It liberates the vandal to travel. You never saw a bigoted, operated, stubborn, narrow-minded, self-conceited almighty mean man in your life that he had stuck in one place since he was born.” Once you start digging into the customs and practices of other cultures, you realize just how flexible the  template for human existence really is.

Multicultural Education will open children’s minds, broaden their horizons, and make them better global citizens. Although political correctness presents us from delving into some of the truly illuminating cultural differences, our multicultural curriculum will at least lay a foundation which helps kids appreciate that there are many legitimate ways to live, and that differences between us should be celebrated rather than scorned.
