Musical Swimmers (Preschool-Grade 1)

Before you start, have each child find a partner. Once everyone is partnered up, put on some music and have the kids pretend to swim around the group and away from their partner. When the music stops, they have to rush back and hug their partner again, trying not to be the last ones to find their partner. Talk to them about why it’s important to pay attention to the others around you when swimming and to keep an eye out to ensure no one goes missing.
