I was out on a walk one day, snacking on cookies as I roamed alone, when a scary dinosaur with big sharp teeth decided to follow me home. I got awfully scared, thinking he might eat me, so I offered him a snack. He smiled at me and I smiled right back, knowing we would be friends after that.
I got him home and fed him good, hot dogs and chicken wings, cake and ice cream and barbecue ribs, and lots of other things. He licked my face and wagged his tail, and seemed really gracious and glad. He eats a lot but he’s really great, the best pet a kid could have.
I named him Ralph and made him a spot to sleep on our front lawn. He greets me every morning with a big dino kiss, then follows me all day long. My parents weren’t exactly thrilled when I first showed them my new pet, But have you ever tried telling a dino to ‘get?’
My parents weren’t exactly thrilled when I first showed them my new pet, But have you ever tried telling a dino to ‘get?’ He just growls at them, and soon they say “Forget it!”
Eventually Mom and Dad came around, and Ralph is now a part of our family, I love him to death, he’s my very best friend, and I’m sure that he loves me.
I take Ralph out around the town for everyone to meet. People line up for blocks to see him, they think he’s really neat. It was all going great until one day, I forget to feed my dear Ralph. It seems he must have been really hungry, as I would soon find out.
I turned around for one little moment, and heard this loud, crunching sound, I turned around for one little moment, and heard this loud. When I looked back again, my eyes shot wide open, you wont believe what I found… In one big gulp Ralph had scooped up my friends, and was trying to gobble them down!
I scolded Ralph, I told him “No!” I started to scream and shout. And so like a good little dinosaur, he promptly spat them back out. The episode gave us quite the scare, but it all worked out in the end. A few weeks stay in the hospital, and they were as good as new again.
But now every time I venture out and wander around the town,I can’t seem to find any more friends willing to come around!
